谁都知道，目前世界上X86 CPU的王者是Intel，AMD只能靠显卡业务苟延残喘。但是，要知道，曾经也有一家中国台湾公司威盛（VIA）名震X86 CPU和芯片组业界，自从收购了Cyrix之后，VIA开始涉足x86 CPU设计领域，先后推出了多款处理器，虽然性能无法与第一第二名的Intel和AMD抗衡，但是其特长在于低功耗，因此得以在某些特殊领域的市场上站住脚跟。
1987年，由陈文琦在美国加州硅谷从”Symphony公司”中成立。他在加入Symphony前是Intel的员工，目前还是公司的总经理。陈文琦从Symphony把员工送回台湾开始成立芯片制造。陈文琦的妻子王雪红是公司的董事长，她是台塑企业董事长王永庆的女儿。 1992年，将总部移到台湾台北县新店市。2000年，威盛成功地掠取一半的芯片组市占率，以629元的天价荣登股王，缔造了1258亿元台币的市值。

Logic Design Engineer
【Responsibilities】
1.Logic Design, verification for SOC;
2.Asic flow timing analysis, logical synthesis , system debug.
【Requirements】

Hardware System Engineer
【Responsibilities】
In charge of ASIC design to FPGA Porting;
In charge of FPGA emulation and debugging;
In charge of SSD hardware system functional/compatibility debugging on FPGA Platform or real silicon platform;
In charge of resolving SATA, NVME Related issues on FPGA platforms;
In charge of flash features research and flash controller related debug job;
Resolving the super speed serial bus related issues on real silicon chip, like SATA GEN3, PCIE GEN3, NVME, AHCI, etc;
Take a part of responsibilities about the reference schematic and layout design;
【Requirements】

2.Familiar with the SATA or PCIE specification, have a strong knowledge about Super speed serial bus specification;

Firmware Engineer
【Responsibilities】
1. Firmware algorithms design and optimizations for SSD and flash based products
2. Deliver high quality software using the best practices by creating architecture, feature analysis and design/implementation documentations.
3. Work with logic, system and QA test teams assisting with simulations, debug, problem analysis and correction of defects found during testing and validations.
【Requirements】
1. MS, Computer Science，EE or related, Ph.D., in computer science or electrical engineering is preferable. As excellent candidates, bachelor degree could be considered. Besides, welcome fresh graduates to apply this position.
2. Demonstrated outstanding capabilities to perform innovative and significant research in terms of technical papers, thesis and patents;
3. Excellent C/C++ programming skills;
4. Knowledge of mass storage such as hard disk or flash memory and the device driver;
5. Knowledge of computer architecture, skill in problem solving and identifying performance bottleneck for algorithm optimization;
6. Knowledge of mass storage interface such as ATA, SATA etc.
7. Good communication skills in English.
System Validation Engineer
【Responsibilities】
1. SSD solution validation for SATA and PCIe-NVMe products;
2. Performance test, reliability check, and stress test for SSD products;
3. Bug submission, track, and verification;
4. Develop test tools to meet test purpose.
【Requirements】
1. Bachelor degree in CS or related fields, CET4 or above. Besides, welcome fresh graduates to apply this position.
2. Knowledge of SSD, performance/reliability test;
3. Familiar with motherboard component and hardware testing flow;
4. Ability to understand specifications, to read/write testing scripts and codes;
5. Windows, Linux tweak and optimization experience is a plus;

SSD Algorithm Research (Arch)
【Responsibilities】
1. Design and implement FTL algorithms for SSD and flash based product lines
2. Help to drive the continuing evolution and optimization of the FTL algorithms based on the new requirements and development of the related technologies.
3. Work with logic, system and QA test teams assisting with simulations, debug, problem analysis and correction of defects found during testing and validations.
【Requirements】
